On any SWR meter in a tuner that gets to reading incorrectly or not at all: Check the diodes for open ones. If you leave a tuner connected to your feedline and antenna when a storm passes over, you may have zapped a diode with a static buildup on the antenna. Many of the diodes are only rated at 60 volts, and are germanium, similar to 1N34.
