HI I ave had the Argo for more than three years. I use it on batteries exclusively. I have used it for traffic handling (CW), ragchewing (CW), and Field Day (CW). The RX is as senitiive as you would want. With PROPER use of the DSP filters and passband tuning, you can use it in contests without much hassle (CW). With firmware 1.08, it should give a good result on SSB. To you Argo V newbies, learn how to use the filters and PBT. You won't be disappointed.
