I'm pretty sure (99%) that the connectors are SMA's

I've also looked at the VNA as a possible signal generator
source as well. If I recall correctly it should be able to
output RF to ~100 MHz @ ~0dBm or so. It wasn't clear to me
though how clean the RF output really is for signal generator
purposes (is it clean enough???). I have not yet dug any
deeper to find out.

The preliminary Ten Tec docs for the VNA that I downloaded
and read a few months ago specifically states that they (TT)
won't be supporting the signal generator mode of operation.
However the link on the TAPR website does have sample
software for signal generator type operation of the orignal
QEX VNA. So I assume it should still be possible.
