Think so. They probably improved the value of them by removing one blade at
a time from the turbine. My dealings with them were that I worked as a
technician and salesman for a manufacturer's rep for their mobile radios.

General Electric used to have (and may still have) what they call a "Value
Improvement Program." Best I could tell, what they did was remove radio and
TV parts one by one until the unit failed to work. Probably other
manufacturers have similar programs.
RFI suppression would be removed under such a program. Perhaps you got a
unit before its value was "improved."

We have had a Duet Washer for two years now and I never noticed any
interferrence. So after following this discussion for a while, I put in a
load and listened to 20m and 40m with the result that there is NO
dedectible interferrence. Am I missing something here? My rig is on a
separate circuit so maybe that is a factor.
Good news for a change.
