If I remember correctly (and I usually do) that's what was done at the first
TT hamfest in 2002
when they unveiled the Orion and the Argonaut V (I have a V, great rig).

I seem to recall that no one saw much about the IC-7800 prior to the big
splash at Dayton a couple of years back.
Maybe - just maybe - Ten Tec wishes to reserve the great 'reveal' for this
year's Homecoming. I don't believe that the release date of October 1 being
the same day as the hamfest is a coincidence.
