This seems to be true on the Argonaut V only if you
are running at or near maximum level on the noise
blanker (8 or 9). At lower settings I don't hear
distortion but many times the noise blanker is still
quite effective. You've gotta love the IF DSP
technology.

Or, in the case of the Argonaut V and 6N2, make it
disappear completely, at least to my ears.
These rigs aren't perfect and by now I can list some
nits to pick, but for low end relatively low cost
radios Ten Tec did an amazing job, as in much better
than the competition.
