Would anyone suggest that using a power strip as the on/off switch for your Corsair II (always on) supplied by an RS35 (switch on)is a bad thing? I have an airpax that I normally use as the on/off switch after the RS35A is already powered up at the main station position, but not at the secondary position. I am wondering if allowing the gear to shut down slowly as the RS35 filter caps drain is harder on the gear at the secondary station than the primary. Astron is also not stabilized at rig power up that way. _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
