I get it. Like taking a fine road machine like a Jaguar and ripping out
half the spark plugs, gumming up the injectors, putting water in the
gas, changing the tires for old worn-out 'Beetle' ones, spray painting
the glass for minimum viability, and removing the shocks! When you are
done you got a great Icom!
(smiling) Jerry, KG6TT ISO here is an interesting idea, can some one make a list of settings, so the Orion is set the same as a IC-756 or an old TS-930, or a FT-847 , you know, all the settings and bandwidths etc so it sounds just like the target rig. Then we will have our back up rigs built into our orions...:)tom N6AJR |
