I have had good luck with the Orion's tuner. It seems to tune my windoms
real fast on any band. There is a bit of noise, but I do not think that is
a big problem because it only lasts a few seconds.

I bought my Orion with the tuner installed but did not expect to use it
often and have not done so. However the few times I have used it I did not
feel it did a very good job. It seemed to give up around 1.2-1.4 to 1 on
impedances easily handled by a manual tuner and I believe were a little less
than 3:1. Has anyone else had this experience or found the tuner to be more
accurate than mine seems to be? It seems to make a lot more noise than I
was used to with Yaesu equipment. The first time I used it I thought it was
stripping a gear train.

Interesting in that TT also just broke up with LDG on the tuners for the
Orion.
Is TT having problems getting along with its partners?
