I have a Triton IV digital with 262G PS that I bought in 1976 and still use. It had the same problem you mention. I had RF in the shack that was being picked up by the cables which connect the vox to the transceiver. I stripped out some RG-8 shield and slipped it over the cables and cured the "lock on" of the vox. I also daisy chained all my station to a good earth ground and rod just outside the shack. 73, de WB4WSA, Larry _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
