I just made my first CW QSO with the Orion where I ran full (100w) power. I noticed that at the beginning of a transmission, the meter would peg as I could hear it hitting the stop. It quickly dropped back to 100w. I was transmitting into my triband beam which has a pretty low (< 1.5) SWR. My rise time was set at 8 ms, I was keying at 16 WPM. 73, Mark _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
