Hi all, I have an Omni VI. When first turned on the CW TX RF power output is nearly 100 watts, and then after being on for maybe an hour it is down to about 60 watts. I have not yet got inside to make the adjustments to R46, R52, R54 & R57 on the 9 MHz Mixer / IF Board as described in the manual. Since the power drops after it has been on for a while, my guess is that even if I make the adjustments by the book, it is still going to drift downward after being on for awhile. If I make the adjustments AFTER it gets warm and the power drops, then I run the risk that when the radio first gets turned on it will be putting out too much and possilbly damaging the PA xsistors. The likely suspect parts that could be changing as it warms up are U1, U2, Q7, 8, 9, 10 ,11, 12, 13, & 14 on the mixer/IF board. Or the low level driver might be where it is happening. Have any of you had a similar problem and if so what was done to fix it. Yes I know I can send it to Ten-Tec, but they are a long way from here. The shipping would probably cost 100X the cost of the part(s) that need changing. Thanks, Ken N6KB
