Thanks to Martin Ewing, AA6E, for accepting the challenge and providing my
club (Meriden ARC CT ) with a very professorial power point presentation on
the Orion. He brought the actual rig in, and we played with it a bit, but
unfortunately even an Orion can only do so much when the bands are almost
dead ;-)
He gave a balanced report which the members enjoyed and I think many
learned a bit about roofing filters and such.
