Be prepared to spend about $200. Small price to pay for an Omni VI+ +. You get to choose either the SSB or CW roofing filter. The CW filter is 600hz wide. With the programing switches, you can make it kick in when hitting either N-1, N-2 or either. It matters not if you have any filters in the option slots on the 9mhz board. This thing installs at the very beginning of the 9mhz IF chain, just like the Orion. After this filter, the signal hits the OEM 15khz wide filter, which has an easy job now, then through the first IF amplifier, which is now happy not to have so many sigs to amplify, an on to your optional 9mhz filters.
