Just curious - as I wait for my Orion - Is S meter circuitry separately handled - ie: When you don't ru RF gain full- is the S meter functional -- Not a huge deal for me as I have used a sweet spot on tye RF gain in my TR7 for years -- 73 es HNY Hank K7HP > Just set the threshold low (<1uV) for all AGC speeds and leave it there. Advance RF Gain just above the point where you can hear the band noise.
