Wonder why the 3CX1500A7 has not been mentioned as a drop in for the 4CX1600B
Just think far less metal work, no screen supply and yes you do have to wait 3
minutes after turn on before applying HV. But that in my opinion is only a
minor inconvenience. then agian to others that may be a real negative.
Check out my website for a view of a homebrew 3CX1500A7 that smokes along at
1500 watts out on 20 meters with 55 watts drive from the Omni 6+.
