Maybe Joel, but I did have it with my Corsair II and with my previous three
OMNI's (all with audio derived AGC).  It isn't as apparent when the band is
not full of strong signals, but in a contest it is there.  As Steve said, a
slight reduction of the RF gain helps.

My Corsair I didn't have that problem in full or semi-QSK.
