Dave, Steve
I picked up a QSK-5 at Dayton 2003 for $175 new. It had an intermittent that
took a few minutes to find - fortunately it was only a cold solder joint.
Use the QSK-5 with an Elecraft K2/100 and Hercules II amplifier. I've replaced
the Herc's loud, clacking vacuum relay once already and would prefer not to do
so again, so that was the motivation for getting the PIN diode switch. I had
some difficulty interpreting the QSK-5's directions too and agree they are not
particularly clear. Ultimately, got it all sorted out without breaking anything
and the QSK-5 has been super. Will provide more details off the reflector to
anyone interested.
