Problem solved! The daughterboard was received with the power lead
attached to the wrong pin. It was very easy to pull the red lead off the
plug, snip a little off the lead, and reinsert the lead into the proper pin
of the connector with a small flat blade screwdriver (absent having a punch
down tool). The +5.8v is supplied to power the daughterboard from a tap on
the Logic Board. The correct pin to carry this voltage is the plug lead
closest to the left edge of the daughterboard, which is farthest away from
the coax connection. Without this voltage, the daughterboard cannot sent the
reference signal to the Logic Board, and thus no display or audio at power
up. Thanks to Don at TT for a quick solution! All in all, not too demanding to install. Remember that the empty pin on the Logic Board header for connector #34 is to it's right looking at the transceiver from the right side. I do have one suggestion...don't start any project like this on Friday prior to a major holiday! :-) 73, Joe K4MD
