The cable 52 mod removes the clicking sound when in QSK plus allows your
sidetone volume to track your af-gain. Locate the IF/Audio board on the
bottom of the rig. Removal of the big aluminum cover is obviously required.
Locate jack 52. Pull the plug off. Tie it back to something with a wire tie
or just stuff it between some wires. In my case, I just plugged it back in
so the unused pin was on the unused socket of plug 52. You'll see what I
mean when you find it. This is an old mod, made by many 6+ owners and works
great.
