I think it kinda depends on how you have it coupled. If you just using a
pick-up loop, it shouldn't matter. I, personally, would never attach
anything after the tuner. I have a pick-up loop consisting of about four
turns of wire wrapped around the outside of the coax going to my tuner.
There is just enough RF leakage to give me a small presentation on both my
scope and spectrum analyzer.
However I normally run about a KW, so if your running QRPp, you may have to
experiment with another place for a pick-up loop.
