R390A, Drake R-4C etc, etc. and of course Orion
It is my beleif that all manufacturers (By Now!) know well .. how to build a
superb radio. Especially when it comes to RCVR performance.
They just don't want to do it, Maybe they don't think they need to in order
to get 'OUR' business. Seems like they only want to put in just a little more
than the competition.
I commend TT for going the extra mile. Of course we pay $$$ for it. But at
least it's an option.
Collins, Drake IMHO and experience did the same thing back in the old days.
(Since I'm 55 it's ok to say the old days ... isn't it?)
