Whoops-
Sorry Ron, meant to say 'one' might modify the software.
It's always a trick getting serial stuff to communicate
and always easier if one can get inside the code. Trick
is the interfaces and protocols may not be well documented
and are sometimes fudged a bit WRT standards.
Software's both the blessing and the curse of these new radios.
