I feel that it is a "must have" item. Allows you to program the function
keys to suit your needs.

I must caution you, the pod can be a source of RFI if your station grounding
is not up to spec.
If you need further info, drop me a line concerning this. You may or not
have this problem.

Also use the 301 on the Omni 6+, wish it included the keypad as well.
