Hi Jim, been monitoring the comments re your question.. Well, several years
ago I queried TT about that problem. Was told that the phone output was
high impedance and that I should put a resistor in series with my 8 ohm
phones. Tried many values and wound up with 390 ohms. Been running with
that for years satisfactorily....Still think the Omni V is a great rig for
my 99.9% CW operation.

Kind of surprised that this seems to be sop with the Omni V. Called Ten Tec
but never got a definite answer, probably since the Omni V is old hat by
now. Only suggestion was to check the impedance of the headphones. No big
deal though, still impressed by this Omni V.
