I feel this is key to keeping ham radio alive and
relevant in the future. We as hams cannot afford to
not embrace PC technology and tight computer
integration with our radios. Like Mark's students I
have found the PC to make my ham radio operating more
interesting, and I now operate more than I ever have
in the past simply because the my PC driven Pegs allow
me to do the things that were hard and/or very
expensive to do in the past. The Pegasus is not
perfect, for the things I'd like to do it is limited
by its RS232 interface. It also is not able to handle
many strong signals close together such is typical of
HF contesting. It is however via N4PY softare's
spectrum sweep a very good radio for watching large
chunks of a mostly dead band silently for activity.

Yep.

Bravo.

To TT marketing read - this:
Now only if somebody would put Orion caliber
performance in a no panel box like the Peg is with
Ethernet interfacing. Then with some creative software
such radio could take the contester and DX'er crowd by
storm.
