I don't think the Argo V responds to RTS / DTR signals on the serial port
for PTT control. Most other radios don't, either. You need to build/buy an
interface ( aka RigBlaster or my favorite - Rascal ) to go between the
serial port and the PTT input on the Argo.  Since the Argo V already has
suitable audio in / audio out, you could probably get buy with just a simple
level converter (a resistor, a couple of diodes and a transistor or opto
isolator). You should be able to find circuit diagrams in the magazines, on
the web or in the PSK program documentation.
