Good question and I can't answer it. I don't own one now. I know the old
Model 250s and 260s, sold with the Tritons and Omnis, didn't have the
crowbar, but it was later made optional. I had a crowbar installed in my
260.
I'm thinking that the 280 did have the crowbar circuit. Maybe somebody on
this reflector can give a definite answer.
