Hi Mark, Don't know the answer to the first part of your question. It has been my experience with the integration of sound reinforcement and ham radio transmitters that you will not experience any difficulties other than possible rf getting into the rad shack mixer. Make sure that you ground the mixer to the PC so that they both see the same ground potential.
