LEETLE light bulbs. Flashlight or panel lamps. Then use the two wires
with alligator clips on each lamp to TAP on the feed line, using a
length of feedline as a current shunt to give the gossamer lamps a
sample of the line current they can survive. If the alligator wires are
the same and the lamps the same and the alligator spacings the same and
at the same place on the transmission line the scheme (which has been
worked every since balanced lines began) is a reasonable way to find
balance.

Using regular 120 volt lamps, means the power is being dissipated in the
lamps, not the antenna and that much series resistance in the lines may
set the balance even if the tuner isn't properly balanced. The little
lamps tapped don't use up much power.
