Hi Jim, and yes ... he was speaking of 160m ... which should
be an excellent 'worst case' situation, as to 339 type signals?
>Wonder where he found ALL those signals to
>compare with in May?? of June???
Actually, there's been several posts of USA<>EU QSOs
over the past few months. He's one of the top tier ops
and knows the band very well ... keep in mind while we
are approaching our summer days, our VK/ZL/ZS and
SA friends are in their winter top band season ... so for
them ... it's prime time on top band now.

<SMILE> I don't think so Jim, this guy is a sharp op, and one that
KNOWS top band better than most, including me, ever will. 160m
is not a "winter only" band for the most serious.
>How many signals have you heard at all on
>160 meters in the last few weeks?????????
As I am in the last of my pre-dissertation courses here, not any.
B-) .... However a quick check of DX SUMMIT shows quite a
bit of activity on top band ... check it out yourself and see.
>Here in KH6... land...none!
Which means what exactly Jim? You need a real antenna? B-) B-)
