Good Comments John.

I agree that later Microsoft and industrial (Office) versions are more
stable than early offerings.  Most any code is greatly improved by version
3.0 or later.

Interesting that the charting advantage is still available via the later
techniques, as a commenting feature.

As a hardware person mainly, I was always more comfortable with schematics
and other visual charting aids.
