OH GREAT!!! Just what I need! Another reason to drink! :-) Actually I
don't drink, with or without, reasons but that is besides the point.
I have not looked at the back of my Orion recently as I am too busy having
fun with the FRONT of my Orion! BUT! If those screw heads are NOT perfectly
aligned I am going to pack it up and send it back. Imagine spending all
that money and not having screws being aligned! What is this World coming
to? What about all those square metal things? They have slotted things in
them that are not perfectly aligned either! I think I will go and turn them
so that they are all pointing the same way. Talking about cutting corners:
Where are all those hundreds of multi-colored wires that are in many "other"
radios? All I can see is circuit boards and those square metal things. Is
this thing cheap or what? How can you make a radio without all those wires
and cables running all over the place? I think that this calls for an
investigation! :-)
ACTUALLY - in all seriousness I recall a boat manufacturer who made a point
to show that all THEIR screw heads were perfectly aligned! I forget the
name of the company BUT would immediately recognize it if I saw it. I have
NOT seen that name for at least 14 years. I wonder why? How can you
perfectly align screws anyway? To me this would mean that some are overly
tightened and some tightened less than they should be. I do not care for
either of those situations - either in a radio or especially in a boat.
NOTE: I am NOT being sarcastic! Just having a bit of fun - so please do
not take offense where none is intended. 73, Bill
