Hi Bill;
My feelings/experience having owned Ten-Tec since 1977.
1. You will need the 400 Hz for serious CW. (Not certain on your SSB
Oper., but in 10M 'test, the 2.1 INRAD is great.
2. My TrippLite PS has never, ever, given me noise or RF problems. This
is when CDXA owners of the Astron 35's were experiencing either shutting
down or RFI back to xcvr. on 160 & 80 meters.
(I bought my PR-40a in 1987, and it sits on the floor under my desk. So
quiet under load, I do not know it is on! )
3. Ten-Tec has offered the fan to appease the RTTY Ops in my opinion. Not
needed under CW-SSB use.
