I want to thank all those that provided solution on how to match 8 ohm 
headsets to the Scout 600 headphone jack. It appears a good straight forward 
solution is to buy a 600 ohm headset from Fair Radio for $10-$20. Doing a 
little more reserch it appears 600 ohm is a standard for airplane 
communication systems.
