Yes it is 16 bit. I too would love to see a 32 bit
version of it, - just because.
It will be interesting to see if the flash loader
program for the Orion is the same. Up to now the DSP
devices used in all of the TT ham/SWL radios have been
from the same ADSP-21xx family and share considerable
commonality. The Orion however is a completely
different beast from a DSP perspective. Perhaps one of
the Orion Beta testers can comment about the flash
loader program.
