I forget the details but I know some guys on this list have discussed an
audio mod for the Omni VI that involves a 2.8 filter. Would a modified Omni
V qualify as a pretty good DX rig *and a nice "low fi" ssb rig?
Qustions:

What is involved in the mod ?
Can this also be done on an Omni V? 
Any disadvantages to doing the mod ? (does the mod degrade the DX/contest
abilities of the Omni? )
How does the audio of a modified Omni compare with the audio of a Jupiter?
