Good idea Bill!!! I've removed the foam rubber then remembered reading about
drilling a hole in the back of some had mics which some tmes also improves
the quality of the audio....did both mods and on another receive sounds ok,
now looking fer a ham friend familiar with the way it sounded before and
judge if the audio has improved!
Will let ya know if they judge it better or not....
