Okay, relax. For the record, the 238A was discontinued on 10/24, replaced
by the 238B. The only difference is the paint job--the B is black to match
the new radios.
Official notice: The model 238A antenna tuner has been replaced by model
238B. 238A is no longer available. There is no difference between 238A and
238B other than paint color. 238A was charcoal grey like the JUPITER
transceiver, 238B is black to match other items in our product line. 238B is
available now at $475.00.
On an unrelated note (except maybe with regard to color), I'd sure like to
pick up two of the new tan/grey speakers but I'm too cheap to buy them new.
Would all you guys who are buying the black rigs do me er, us a favor and
trade in all your tan gear (speakers included) so they show up on the used
list?
