About, "Now I've got my Omni 6 in action again, I'd like to do something to either cure, or alleviate, the clicky/thumpy sidetone which has always been a feature of my Omni 6, from new. Thump/Click problem exists even with power-out set to minimum, at all settings of sidetone level & with both the internal & external keyer, so guess its audio-related rather than RF leakage. Anyone on the list had this problem? Any fixes?" 73 de Mike, zl1mh Mike, There's a wealth of info. about this in the archives. But a fast thing to try is to always keep your N.B. set at about 3 o-clock position. 73, Roy K6XK/0 |
