> isn't the CW transmit offset set differently (different crystals in > the BFO) in the "real" 6+ ? Yes, but the crystals are the same only the alternate sideband crystal is used. This results in less of a required frequency shift in the CW transmit offset. I had modified my Omni Six this way before Ten-Tec implemented it in the "Plus" version. -Paul, W9AC |
