[TenTec] Orion and Noise Blanker

I'm sure this has been posted, but I probably missed it.  Is the notch
circuitry outside the AGC loop or within?  My brother, N2JT just bought a
ProII and may get an Orion (he's a post-modernist collector, I get) and one
of his few complaints on the PROII is teh AGC getting pumped because the
notch circuit is outside the AGC loop.

Appreciate a clarification if anyone is sure how it will work on the Orion.
