Earlier, I wrote, in part:

Well, maybe the filters in the Pegasus are 12 kHz wide,
as that is the 3rd and final IF center frequency within
the Peg. So the DSP processor is fed digital info via
a 12 kHz A to D converter. In the 340, the final IF is
centered at 16 2/3 rds kHz. The D to A converter in
the 340 produces a serial data stream at a 66 2/3rd
kHz sample rate for input to the DSP processor.
Unfortunately, this sort of tech info is absent from the
Pegasus manual I have. So the mystery of the Orion
frequency plan must await more info from Ten Tec for
satisfying our curiosities, hi.
