> My vote is for a 500Hz filter in a filter narrow slot; stacking the two
500HZ filters gives you awesome freedom for interference by nearby strong
signals. I find that combination much more useful than a 250Hz filter. Of
course, YMMV...
For a bit higher price, I would add one of the Inrad 400 Hz filters;
they are 10 pole and shielded. Not sure where your present
500 Hz filter is; in the 6 or 9 mHz strip, but I would guess
it is in the 500 button spot which is in the 6 mHz IF chain.
If so, get the Inrad 400 Hz filter for the 9 mHz strip, and
put it in N1. (I'd not really bother with the 250 Hz until much
later, hi).
