I haven't had time to work on the software for the past two or
three months, but this week I am working on it pretty much
full time.
I hope to get it completed by Jan 1., 2002, then do two or
three weeks of final testing and tweaking.
The big changes are that it is a color application when run
on a color PDA, and I've redesigned the control panel
screen. The program will run on monochrome PDAs.
The new control panel screen has a keypad for frequency
entry and the filter, mode, tuning step, and AGC selections
have been redone for the sake of simplifying the screen and
the source code.
New features will be a scratch pad memory that will hold the last
10 frequencies entered and a button to swap between the last
two frequencies entered (sort of a "vfo a/vfo b" thing). The regular
memory store and recall functions will work the same in V2 as they do in V1.
Beyond Version 2, I hope to add some sort of amateur/shortwave
band selection, multiple memory banks, and some other stuff I've
thought up.

The buttons for using the scratch pad and swapping the last two
frequencies aren't in the screen shots, because they haven't been
added to the software yet.
