You're confusing the Pegasus with the Paragon. The Jupiter
(ie Pegasus FP....Front Panel) decended from the Pegasus.
The Paragon was Ten-Tec's first ham transceiver with a PLL
and general coverage receive. It came on the market in
1988 and received an excellent review that year in the May
issue of QST. This review is on the ARRL member's webpage.
The Paragon predated the Omni V by about two years.
I had a Paragon for about nine years and it was an excellent
radio.
