Looks like I started something when I brouhgt up this topic. I am using a 961 PS because I had it with my Omni V and keep it when I traded the Omni V in. I would not hesitate to use a supply without overcurrent cut-off if thats what I had. My purpose in starting this was to alert anyone using these supplies the extra current taken from the accessory jacks on the supply will be added to the final current and cause it to trip with less of a mismatch. 73, Dave, VE1ADH |
