I have two OMNI VI+s, a 564 bought new and a 563 option 3 bought used,
and they have both been trouble free. Although my Corsair II was also
"perfect", I have been entirely satisfied with my trade up. And, I can
still work on it (or contemplate making a modification) if I wish.
That is a comfort. BTW, I have never had to work on any of my 3 TenTec
radios. Not so with my brief flings with JA rigs, which were very costly
in terms of having repaired......
