[TenTec] TT 217/219 Filter some number of crystals on???

Hi,

i have to crystal filter in the 9MHz IF.
One should be the model 217 the other the model 219.
In the manual in i saw:
                model 217 500 Hz eight pole for cw
                   model 219 250 Hz six pole for cw

But i count on both filters 8(eight) crystals.
I thought six pole eq six crystals 
and eight pole eq crystals?

I am wrong ?
