Frank,
I had the same problem with my Omni 6+. It drove me nuts! I almost
shipped the rig back to Ten Tec. They asked me if i had an antenna
switch. i had an old Goldline 2 position switch for my two antennas. It
was the cause of that problem u r having. i thought it was the rig's
internal relay. Nope. i bought a new Alpha Delta 2-position switch and
my problem vanished and has not returned. If u r using an antenna switch,
try the rig without it.
